Turntable: Micro Seiki (modified)

Body filled with concrete with a total weight of approx. 50kg, 4 layer platter of different materials, modified electronic circuit and extra cabinets for the electronic circuit and transformer. 

Former Components: Rega Planar 2, Ariston (modified), Linn Sondek (modified).


Tonearm: Syrinx PU3 (modified)
Tonearm wires and mounting base replaced, copper/silver/PTFE cables used. 

Former Components: Rega RB-250, Formula IV, Technics EPA500 (modified).


Cartridges: Audio Technica AT-OC 9, Clearaudio Delta

Former Components: Decca (modified), Denon DL103 (modified), Dynavector.


MC Prepre & Preamplifier: Homebuilt Preamplifer System No. 3 (Trilith)

Fully operated with accumulators, volume control uses 12 position military grade switches, all resistors are carbon composition types, no electrolytic capacitors used. 

Former Components: Quad 22 (modified), Quad 33 (modified), Meridian (modified), Exposure, Hafler (modified), Homebuilt Preamplifier No. 1 & 2, Denon AU340 transformer, Prepre Hiraga (DIY), Homebuilt Active X-over No.1.


CD-Player: Sony XA50ES (modified)

Clock circuit replaced, analog section replaced (resistors, capacitors, solid state elements, cables etc.), mechanical treatments against vibration done. 

Former Components: Marantz's first CD-Player (modified), Marantz CD17 (modified), Sony XA7ES (modified).


Recorder: Sony JA50ES (modified), Sharp MD-MS200H

Former Components: Revox A700 (modified), Nakamichi Tape Deck (modified).


Power Amplifier: Homebuilt FET Class A Amplifier No. 2 (Megalith)

Fully operated with accumulators, no capacitors used within signal path, no electrolytic capacitors used, stable and linear bandwith up to 2 Mhz, two stage design, 8 W Class A, peak power up to 24W, all resistors are carbon composition types. 

Former Components: Quad II (modified), Quad 303 (modified), Meridian (modified), Exposure, TVA (modified), Electrocompaniet, ML-2, Homebuilt FET Class A Amplifier No. 1.


Loudspeaker: Homebuilt Fullrange TML Speaker No. 3 (predecessor of the Menhir)

Manger's Bending Wave Transducer MSW used, 4 layer box with floating inner chambers, 3 chamber system, Transmission line port, aperiodic damping (lowers Qms), no traditional damping materials used, sensitivity 91db/2.83V/1m, max. SPL 104db, frequency response 40Hz-24kHz, weight approx. 60kg per piece. 

Former Components: KEF?s small BBC Monitor, Quad ESL 57 (modified), homebuilt Onken-Mahul Speaker System No. 1, Homebuilt Fostex Magnetostat Speaker System No. 2.


Headphone: Sennheiser HD590, HD600
