Access From Biel direction La Neuveville/Neuchâtel, about 4km away from Biel get out of the main road at Tüscherz, park under the train bridge, get down the stairs to the dive site (just across the small lake-side road).
Dive Description Entry: through stairs, exit at the same place. There is a large stone at about -7m slightly on the right. This can be used as the exit reference.
Bottom: The shore is built with large stones (down to -5m). Thereafter, the bottom is made of mud with some stones, the deeper the less stones the more mud.
Suggested tour: both directions (Biel or Neuchâtel) are similar. For beginners go direction Biel and more advanced divers may prefer to go direction Neuchâtel.

Access From Biel direction La Neuveville/Neuchâtel, about 7km away from Biel get out of the main road at Twann, turn right at the first cross and then left at the next one, drive for about 400m and turn left again (See Polizei), park there. Walk through the small tunnel under the main road, turn right when coming out of the tunnel. Walk about 30 m and there you are.
Dive Description Entry: through wide stairs, exit at the same place. There is a buoy slightly on the left, its chain goes down to about -6m. This can be used as the exit reference.

Access Biel Nidau: from Biel train station direction Nidau/Ins. In Nidau turn right just after the furniture shop Brechbühl Interieur in the Balainenweg, follow to the next main street, turn left into the main street and immediately right again (just before the bridge). Go to the end of the street and park there. Get equipped there and walk further on the small path. The entry is on right hand side of the place with benches.
Dive Description Entry: get in down the side of the canal (made of stones and concrete).
Bottom: the sides of the canal are made of stones and concrete, the bottom is sand, rocks and mud.
Suggested tour: at the entry point in the middle of the canal there is a hole down to abut 10 to 15m. Visit first this part (stay close to the bottom) and then let yourself being push out of it by the current. And let it go. Depending of the current and your lamp's capacity, you can let yourself go for 20 to 40 minutes. It is recommended to go out before the second bridge (check the lights). Always exist on the right hand side of the canal (same as entry). Be careful of the boat at anchor, protect your head. Walk back to the car!

Comments Lake, drift and night dive experience recommended. This is only a night dive as during the day, there is quite some boat traffic.
