I was born and raised in Basel, which is quite a big city in the northwestern part of Switzerland. After my graduation from college and my glorious vacation for free in the Swiss Army, I began studying economics at the University of Basel. Once I get bored of only studying all day long and, therefore, I decided to get myself a break. I worked at Coopers & Lybrand in the field of management consulting services for a couple of months. Afterwards I enjoyed a great time in the sunny San Diego, California. I visited Language Studies International school, where I passed the Cambridge Advanced Certificate. After this "hard working" time, I deserved some holidays and, therefore, I travelled through the southwestern part of the United States (for more details, please have a look at my travelling guide at the Picture Gallery). After a great time, I had to come home and was working at the Lonza AG in the financial services (controlling). Now, I am studying again at the university of Basel to finish my education as an economist. To be continued...
I am a really sportive person. I used to play tennis, but nowadays I prefer to play squash with my friends occasionally. I also play the volleyball championships with the VBC Allschwil, and as every year, we are trying to be promoted to the third league. In the summertime, I prefer to play on the beach, where my idol is Randy Stoklos, one of the most successful players of the AVP.
I am a big supporter of our local sports teams, especially the FC Basel (soccer) and the Green Dragons (ice hockey). I also like to watch the american sports, where my favourite teams are the L.A. Lakers (basketball), the San Diego Padres (baseball) and the San Jose Sharks (ice hockey).
Like most men I am interested in cars. The car of my dreams is a dark blue coloured BMW 3er convertible. I am also very keen on the Formula 1 racing, which is very popular in Europe. Therefore, I am looking forward to watch the races every second sunday, to support my favourite team, the Swiss Sauber-Petronas with Mika Salo and Pedro Diniz.
I am not only interested in sports, but also in computers: I like to surf the web, to play games (especially Anstoss 3) and to program small applications. I am a big movie fan, and my favourite movie stars are Cameron Diaz and Catherine Zeta-Jones. I am also interested in fashion, so I like to watch the models walking down the catwalk. In my opinion, Laetitia Casta is the hottest babe in the scene.
