Love Ride 9 Schweiz 

Almost 6000 Bikers and 10000 Spectators gathered on Sunday May 6^th at Dübendorf Airfield for the 9^th annual Love Ride Switzerland. Tough guys on big Harleys showed their open heart for the Swiss MDA patients. At the end of the day a sum of about 280 000 SFr. had been donated to the SGMK. Even though the weather was cold, windy and the sky was overcast everybody had a great time. Great food (sure Bratwurst and Risotto, etc.), drink (Sodas) and entertainment. Bike Show, Stunts and on Stage True Blue, the Albert C. Humphries Blues Band topped in the afternoon by the two hours show of the legendary Uriah Heep.

By 11am Bikers and MSK patient took off for the 50km ride through pretty nice Züricher Oberland. Wherever we rode through people were excited.

They waved hands, took pictures, made videos. Some had put tables and chairs in their garden and when the rider groups, led by Kantonspolizei Zürich, went by a great smell of  exhaust and barbecue was in the air. 

The day before Love Ride Bikers and Sly Divers met at Speck Airfield, Fehraltorf for the ‘Späck Run 2001’. Tandem Dives out of a Super Puma Helicopter had been stopped by, what a surprise this spring, a heavy thunderstorm. But Snakebite & The Bluetoners and Tres Hombres made it a great night.
