80 m experience with RoomCap Antenna
28th May 2006

Here I want to report about experience during one evening on 80 m with the RoomCap antenna.

I am well aware that this is not an antenna comparison, but this gives an impression, how the
antenna works on 80 m.
Long time, I was not QRV on 80 m, now I just spent a short time on this band.

On May 15th, I was QRV during 1 1/2 hour.
Transceiver: TS-50 (100 W PEP), QRG = 3.770 - 3.787 Mhz
Antenna: RoomCap with 1.66m radiator length, mounted on the car. SWR = 1.0
QTH: Peripheral part of the city of Basel (on the street Bachgraben)

Conditions: The band was told to be weak with a lot of  QRN.
