02-Jan-2011: Old entries (no evidence of operation or notification from a trusted source) have been deleted.
01-Jun-2009: Calling
frequencies for PACTOR live QSOs (suggested by Roy HB9BJJ) have been added to
the database under the virtual callsign CQ: 1840,
3585, 7045, 10145, 14080, 18095, 21080, 24925, 28110 kHz.
Lists of PACTOR BBS,
gateway and mail drop stations operating in unattended mode exist in different
flavors. All lists available so far come in human readable format, in other
words plain text. While this is handy for the casual operator, it is a pain
when trying to find out which stations operate on a particular frequency. I
always felt there must be a better way to maintain and publish such data, so I
converted one of the best maintained lists - the
one created by Alf Kruse DF7ML - into a relational database.
For those of you who are familiar with spreadsheet or database software I decided to make my data available in so-called CSV (comma-separated values) format. Data fields are separated by a semicolon, records by a carriage return. The "database-ready" ZIP file below contains 2 tables:
All indicated frequencies
are in Kilohertz and Mark notation! If you are
using AFSK (a must when operating PACTOR levels 2 and 3), calculate your dial
frequency as follows:
