01-Jun-2009: Calling frequencies for PACTOR live QSOs (suggested by Roy HB9BJJ) have been added to the database under the virtual callsign CQ: 1840, 3585, 7045, 10145, 14080, 18095, 21080, 24925, 28110 kHz.

Introduction

Lists of PACTOR BBS, gateway and mail drop stations operating in unattended mode exist in different flavors. All lists available so far come in human readable format, in other words plain text. While this is handy for the casual operator, it is a pain when trying to find out which stations operate on a particular frequency. I always felt there must be a better way to maintain and publish such data, so I converted one of the best maintained lists -  the one created by Alf Kruse DF7ML -  into a relational database.

For those of you who are familiar with spreadsheet or database software I decided to make my data available in so-called CSV (comma-separated values) format. Data fields are separated by a semicolon, records by a carriage return. The "database-ready" ZIP file below contains 2 tables:

All indicated frequencies are in Kilohertz and Mark notation! If you are using AFSK (a must when operating PACTOR levels 2 and 3), calculate your dial frequency as follows:
