Here you can find my favourite cake recipes and lots of very sweeeet adoptions... and enjoy the choc jokes!

 

MENU

::Chocolate Muffins :: Chocolate Cake (parve) :: Cheese Cake with Cherries ::

 

 

 

.:: Chocolate Muffins ::.

 

250g butter

200g dark chocolate

2 cups sugar

2 cups almonds

2 cups flour

4 eggs

1 pack vanilla extract

a little bit of salt

1/2 cup milk

 

 

Mix everything, fill into muffin forms.

 

Bake  at 180°C (preheat!) about 20 minutes.

.:: Chocolate Cake (parve) ::.

 

 

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp salt

2tsp baking powder

 

 

1/2 cup hot water

1/2 cup oil

4 sp chocolate powder

 

4 egg yolks

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

 

4 egg whites, beat seperately, mixed with

1/2 tsp baking powder

 

 

Mix everything, fill into cake form.

 

Bake at 180°C at least 30 minutes  (check with a fork!)

.:: New York Cheese Cake with Cherries for Shavuot ::.

 

 

:: Dough ::

 

1 package petit beurre

50g butter

OR

150g flour

1/2 tsp baking powder

75g sugar

1 pack vanilla sugar

a little bit of salt

1 egg

75g soft butter

flour

 

 

:: Filling ::

 

3 eggs

200g whipped cream

750g cream cheese

150g sugar

juice of a lemon

50g corn starch

250g cherries

 

:: Topping ::

 

ca. 2dl sour cream

1 sp sugar

1 pack vanilla sugar

 

 

 

 

 

Dough: Crumble petit beurre in a plastic bag and add melted butter. Put in cake form and put it in the fridge for 2 hours.

OR

Preheat at 200°C. Mix all ingredients of the dough and put it into a 28cm spring form pan. Bake 10 minutes and take it out. Heat oven now at 170°C.

 

 

Filling: Seperate eggyolks and egg white and beat until smooth. Beat (whipped) cream as well. Mix egg yolks, cream cheese, lemon juice and corn starch. Add egg whites, whipped cream and cherries and put the filling onto the dough.

Bake the cake 1 hour at 225°C.

 

 

Topping:Take the cake out of the oven and add topping on the cake. Put again in the oven for approximately 2 minutes.

:: Rules Of Chocolate ::

 


If you've got melted chocolate all over your hands, you're eating it too slowly.


Chocolate covered raisins, cherries, orange slices and strawberries all count as fruit, so eat as many as you want.


The problem: How to get 2 pounds of chocolate home from the store in hot car.  

The solution: Eat it in the parking lot.


Diet tip: Eat a chocolate bar before each meal.  

It'll take the edge off your appetite and you'll eat less.

 

 

A nice box of chocolates can provide your total daily intake of calories in one place.  

Isn't that handy?


If you can't eat all your
chocolate, it will keep in the freezer.


But if you can't eat all your chocolate, what's wrong with you?


If calories are an issue, store your chocolate on top of the fridge.  

Calories are afraid of heights, and they will jump out of the chocolate to protect themselves.


If I eat equal amounts of dark chocolate and white chocolate, is that a balanced diet?

 


Money talks.  

Chocolate sings.


Chocolate has many preservatives.  

Preservatives make you look younger.


If not for chocolate, there would be no need for control top panty hose.  

An entire garment industry would be devastated.


Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today.  

That way, at least you'll get one thing done
