Every Astronomer's heart beats faster when standing right in front of the Observatory!
The Observatory measures 30 meters in diameter ... wow!!
Inside they have a 200 inch (5m Ø) Telescope for serious Astronomy.
Mt. Palomar Observatory is still the largest usable Telescope on earth and can be found
about 2 car hours north-east of San Diego, California.
The countryside is well worth the trip up there ...
