The kit has been reworked to represent a D3A1 version. The canopy is from Clear Vacs, the bomb is from Fine Molds and the decals are from Aero Master Decals.

The model shows the plane of Lt. Com. Takashige Egusa, the leader of the second wave of the Pearl Harbor attack. The plane belong to the 1st Chutai 21st Shotai of the carrier Soryu.
