I spied a young Shadow in a well armed spacecraft, 
in a well shielded spacecraft just as dark as the space. 
 
"I see by your vessel that you are Minbari," 
These words he did hiss as I boldly flew by. 
"You are a proud warrior, but I will soon show you, 
That this is the day and the place you will die." 
 
"If you care for a battle you're welcome, young Shadow. 
I've never declined from a challenge before. 
Be prepared to die slowly, to suffer and struggle 
For this is what I have for Shadows in store." 
 
He waved his tentacles, he hissed battle verses, 
He shot beams of laser so eas'ly to avoid. 
I turned round my spacecraft and started to fire 
And within a minute his ship was destroyed. 
 
Just in his space suite he appeared to be tiny. 
He whimpered and asked for mercy and prayed. 
I did as I promised and tortured him truly 
Before I did kill him at the end of the day. 
 
Get six husky Vorlons to carry his coffin. 
Get six pretty Narn girls to sing him a song. 
Write with gold letters all over his tombstone: 
"He was just a young Shadow who challenged the wrong."
