Kathleen Maguire O'Shea TCRG/ADCRG/BG

Kathleen won the Senior Ladies title at the World Championships 3 consecutive times (1971, 1972, 1973) and together with daughter Ellie, they are the only "mother and daughter World Champions". For over 34 years she has taught thousands of dancers together with her husband Michael. She is also an adjudicator for the World Championships and other major championships worldwide. A vast number of dancers and lead dancers in Riverdance, LOTD, DODG and other shows were trained at the MOS Academy. Kathleen: "We encourage all our pupils to do Irish dancing, no matter what family or ethnic background the may come from. Passion and dedication plays an important part. We try to show the children what they can achieve through dancing, but also, the joy they can pass on to other people through this beautiful art form."
