Kiran is an monk in a buddism monastry in Pokhara, Nepal. It was because of his efforts that six years ago the first volunteers came to teach in his monastry (by this time they came with an other organisation). In this last six years he could make a lot of experience with the foreign «helpers».
It was in the time when Simone was in the monastry when the idea to start such a project was born. Specially the poverty and the lack of english-speaking teachers in the villages outside from pokhara were decisive of starting this programm.
The «Chokhorling- Teaching in Nepal Volunteer Project» wants to help the school kids around pokhara to improve their english and is interested in giving this very special opportunity in exploring Nepal to foreign people.
