Here is some family background regarding Cathriners in Texas.
Below you'll find the original text of Richard L. Cathriner:
I am Richard L. Cathriner. I will be 71 Jahre old on January 2, 2001. In 1955 - 1957, I was a USAF fighter pilot, stationed in Germany at Flugplatz Spangdahlem Air Base, nach Trier, Bitburg, and Wittlich. My wife is Sally Schaefer Cathriner.
Here is a picture of my wife, Sally Cathriner, and me, Richard L. Cathriner, taken at Wright-Patterson AFB in May, 2000. The occasion was a reunion of "fliegers" from pilot training class 1954-E. The picture was taken by John P. Scholl, one of my 1954-E classmates, the day before the "unveiling" of the bronze plaque on the memorial wall at the U.S. Air Force museum
