Adobe Acrobat Reader One of the nicest ways to publish, send by mail, print and read documents on the internet. Distilled are the so called *.pdf (Portable Document Format) files either by the Adobe Acrobat (commercial) or by the free Ghostview/Ghostscript (see above, select in Ghostview as printing device pdfwriter). WinEdt for Windows Useful editor, especially designed to cope with LaTeX files. Easily to adapt to your personal needs and preferences. Also good together with command line compilers (like DJGPP, GNU C++ or Fortran). Attention: WinEdt is not freeware like most of the other LaTeX stuff, and it is a windows program, meaning that it needs a lot of space on the hard disc. You can download it from there or from CTAN.
