Met 6, 16 year old boys in the park - in their suites and ties, relaxing on the grass. The waved at the singing guitarist. Music and talk. They talked about getting 'pissed' on the weekends.

- "Drinking gradually kills brain-cells - after many years it dulls the mind... This culture is very heavily pro-alcohol. If you don't drink they'll laugh at you".
- 'Not any more, that was the old days' one of them said.
- "Why do you drink? If you drink because every body else does that's really stupid, but if you do it because you have reasons to do it ... please let's think - what are the reasons you drink?"
- 'to feel free, to have a laugh, to loosen up after 5 days with ties in school, to have confidence of talking to the girls - for example last weekend there were two girls sitting at a table and we were pissed and we sat there which normally we'd be too shy to do - and we got their number'.
- "And what did you do with the number?'
- 'nothing, now we're too shy to call...!'

Then we had a discussion on hangover. One of them first said he feels refreshed the next morning having "released". Another said he hates hangovers. 'every times I say I won't drink again but end up doing it again the next weekend'.

Talked about being naturally feeling good when you're healthy, eating properly, resting and exercizing (e.g. walk/stretch), they you're naturally happy - you don't need to drink or smoke.

- 'For example, those 2 beautiful girls that just sat there - we can't go talk to them but if we were pissed we could.
- "I don't need to be drunk to talk to them"
- 'come on, let's see it'.   [later ended up having similar discussion with the 2, 16 year old girls - more geared towards smokin, happiness, etc.]

'To get to where you are - to be naturally high - will take us a long time'.

- "time has nothing to do with it. If you carry on living the way you do, in 30 years you still won't change unless there's change in the present..."

One of them took a cigarette out and others puffed on it - gave them my 2 cents about smoking...

They were quite impressed by the CD 'I would not have the motivation to do something like that' one said, 'you've done the hard part, now you gotto send it to radios.'
