Here you can see some pictures about the Golf Type1 GTI from 1983. This car has been bought some years ago in the southern part of Switzerland (Lugano, Ticino) and therefore it is more or less rustfree. It is imported to the Netherlands.
It is a GTI with a 112 HP engine with K-Jetronic, and there is a special exhaust system mounted with special manifold. Also most interior parts have been taken out, and will be replaced with 2 Sparco Pro 2000 seats.
The pictures below are taken 2 years ago, and currently the car is dismantled again to be prepared newly. There will be a dashboard mounted from an older Golf, hard plastic with the silver strip on it, as well as a chrome mirror on the left. The old type chrome bumpers have been already mounted. should be really cool when it is finished.
