Expedition Maldives February '98; Bathing trunks, Snorkeling and Squeezer

Manuela and Rolf (HB9DIF), Inge and Hans (DL8NBE) go to the Maldives with the rig for 3 weeks. 1997 were Hans and Rolf on Veligandu Island and now they try to get their old Calls.

Date: 19. February - 11. March 1998

Hans, DL8NBE, maybe again as 8Q7BE in SSB/RTTY-Modes and CW.

Rolf, HB9DIF, maybe again as 8Q7BV in CW. (He like big pile-up's)

Equipment: Two TRX, two GP's, Dipoles, maybe a 1/2-Delta-Loop for 80m

Bands : All HF-Bands

Island: Dhiffushi Island is located at the most southern point of South Ari Atoll (Alifu Atoll), which is directly at the outside reef. The distance from the Airport is 58 miles.

QSL: Only via homecalls through the bureau!
