Welcome to the bits & pieces (guitar loops) which you may use for free and as you like! The sound quality of these samples is astonishing if you keep in mind that they are compressed. I decided to "downrate" them into a 48kBit/s; 22.05 Hz, stereo format. This, in my opinion, suits the trade-off (sound quality vs. file size) fine. It is, however, a format that probably won't let you hear the files realtime (depending on your connection), so give them some time to download first and play them then...
Compressing the audio files didn't leave them as they originally were! For this reason you will find at the beginning and at the end of each sample 0.5 seconds of silence. Cut them away and the loops will work just fine. Have fun!

Important note: If you encounter difficulties listening to the files, i suggest you use Internet Explorer 5 and windows media player. (To download windows media player click this link and look out for "windows media player" - it's free). With this combination it is possible to listen to the files realtime, so you don't have to download first. Netscape users will have to wait till the whole file is loaded down (or there's something in Netscape i didn't quite get...)

These audio-clips are not to be used for commercial purpose on a sampling CD or anything alike!

3. a riff in D-B-C-G medium distorted (53kB)

4. the D-B-C-G riff, this time more heavy (59kB)

5. once more, D-B-C-G, clean with delay (65kB)

6. a bluesy .wav in D (75kB)

7. the dream sequence (82kB)

8. noisy and funky in e minor (58kB)

9. h-blue (84kB)

10. a repetitive pattern with lead guitar (60kB)

11. pickin' with delay (45kB)

12. tapping - very stick-y! (61kB)
