Welcome to the Homepage for The Café. My name is Danica and I am the owner of the The_Swiss_American_Café forum. I created the forum in hopes of giving Americans, moving to Switzerland, their families and friends a place to find friendship and comfort, a home away from home, I guess you could say. We welcome anyone from any nation of course. I know how hard it can be to come from America, and try to start a new life in this beautiful, cultured, eccentric new country.There are things in America that we are so used to having available to us, that are not so easily found here.Also, being from a very close family, I find it very hard to be away from all of them.I hope, by creating The Café our families will feel closer to us and perhaps have someone they can share experiences with also.
