Jan Allerts MC2 Finish cartridge (tested in May and June 2002)

Situation:

After having all my cables changed to Fadel Coherence my next step was to replace my 5 years old Clearaudio Accurate cartridge to a better one. Not that the Clearaudio wasn't doing his job but I have heard lots of fantastic comments about Jan Allerts moving coil systems. Most of the comments were about his lower systems MC1. The main problem about his top models (MC2) is that Mr. Allerts produces only a couple of them a year and therefore the delivery time is around 3 to 5 months at least. Since I heard only excellent comments and since I had the lucky opportunity to get a MC2 Finish in 6 weeks, I ordered one.
