Our house was built in 1947 by a the owner of the only industry in Arth as his residence. It was one of the first buildings in the region above Arth, placed maybe in the best place: on the northern side there is a wonderful view of the lake of Zug; it is possible to see up to Cham (the other end of the lake). On the southern side there is a view on the Mythen mountains. On the west side we can see the Rigi mountain. The house is situated on a cliff and it is hidden on the northern side by a stripe of trees (woods). It is build very solidly but with the age the northern side got ruined because it is mostly exposed to bad weather with strong winds. The address is:
Heulediweg 15
6414 Oberarth
Switzerland
There is a bus stop about 100 meters from the house so in about five minutes it is possible to reach the railway station of Arth-Goldau where all trains stop. Even if the Arth-Goldau station is small, it is in fact an important station in Switzerland because it is a junction between the trains which go to the south (Italy), to the north (Germany), west (french part of Switzerland) and east (Austria). In three hours we are in Milan or Geneva, in fifty minutes in Zürich. In five minutes we reach the motorway. Shopping is 3 minutes away with the car or 12 minutes walk in Goldau. The shops aren't though big ones. For more facilities there is a shopping center fifteen minutes with the car in Schwyz (Mythen Centre) or twenty minutes away near Cham (Zugerland).
