Rita wanted to have a place to sit and to eat outside, on the front side of the house. She didn't like at all the quite unpleasant green lawn so it wasn't hard to take the decision to build a sitting place in front of the glass house. To make it interesting we decided to make a circular place with elypses designed on the floor. One of the elypse should continue into a path which leads to the back part of the house. Since the offers of different companies were too high for us, we decided to do it on our own with the help of the people who already done the grill place.

But soon it came clear to us that the helpers were not able to make the elypses precisely enough as we expected. Rita, who from the beginning on wanted to do the work on herself, took over this proje§ With some help from me she finished the circular part of the sitting place, while the helpers did the sqare part (easiest part). At the moment the fillings between the cubes are not done. We hope to finish them during year 2000.

These two last pictures show the result of Rita's work. Unfortunately we do not have at the moment a picture showing the pattern. You can notice although the arc which Rita designed and made herself. This arch is the connection to the path leading to the vegetable garden and to the back of the house.
