Projects in the works or Ones that should be!

I am not a professional programmer, at least not a very good one and I have not done any programming in a number of years. But if you are a programmer, interested in Amateur Radio and OS/2 then, why not, write some OS/2 Ham software? Shareware or freeware, let me know about it and I will post a link.

Following is the most wanted software for

  1. PSK31
  2. Logging (Normal / Contest).
  3. Radio/Rig Control.
  4. SSTV (for Radio, not for Internet).
  5. RTTY
  6. FAX (not only for receiving).
Of course all OS/2 Ham software is welcome!

Some hardware manufacturers have made information available for Hams who would like to program interfaces to their radios. Here are some that may be worth looking into.
  • The folks at WinRadio have provided information for Windows and Linux people to program their receiver. Perhaps an OS/2 Ham or Short Wave Listener could run with this and produce a great OS/2 interface?
  • Ten Tec has a computer controlled Transceiver called Pegasus. They also provide programming information. Could an OS/2 controlled HF rig be possible?

Need some help with programming OS/2?

PSK31 for OS/2

Where is the OM, who can write or port a PSK31 or SSTV program? It would be very appreciated.
