Garden in June 2001 (continuation)

This page shows the start of Rita's wishing well and the different flowers of our garden. Rita has spread everywhere compost and the plants reacted very well to this. Also weeding was an important activity of this month. Especially after the very wet spring weed had its best climate!
The pond however is still a problem because it is full of algas. Titian regularly fishes them out but as soon as it becomes hot the pond gets full of algas again. The other water plants are just starting now to grow. We hope next year the pond will look better.
The different Rhododendrons which we bought last year and in June are growing very well in our garden. Some of them are special sorts (Inkarho) which don't need the moor bed.
